About SK Gaming
SK Gaming is one of the oldest and most storied eSports organizations in the world. Founded in 1997 in Oberhausen, Germany, SK Gaming has significantly shaped the history of German and European eSports.
The name "SK" originally stood for "Schroet Kommando" but was later changed to simply "SK Gaming." The organization was a pioneer in many areas of professional gaming and has produced numerous world champions.

SK Gaming was the first professional eSports organization to introduce player salaries, operate gaming houses, and develop structured training methods. Many standards of the modern eSports industry were shaped by SK.
